Navies worldwide are investing considerable resources in autonomous maritime systems for undersea warfare and multi-domain operations. India commissions INS Arihant and Arighat, accelerates submarine projects, and pursues DRDO-developed undersea technologies alongside India-US anti-submarine warfare collaboration.
